Specifically developed to fit Rycote Mic Foam Windshields, our Mini Windjammer™ offer enhanced wind noise protection in low to moderate conditions.

Made of high-quality synthetic fur cover, the Mini Windjammer™ provides up to 10dB additional noise protection, achieving a total of up to 30dB wind noise attenuation when fitted over a Rycote Foam Windshield, with virtually no adverse effect on high frequency sounds.

The Mini Windjammer™ is available in a wide range of sizes to accomodate any type of Rycote Mic Foam windshields.

What size do I need?

Finding the correct Mini Windjammer™ will depend on the size and type of your Rycote Mic Foam Windshield. Please refer to the name of your chosen Mic Foam Windshield to find its corresponding Windjammer.

For example, a FWS (Foam Windshield) 18/32 Windjammer will fit 18/32 Small Diaphragm Mic Foam; a FWS 30/55 Windjammer will fit a 30/55 Reporter Mic Foam; and, a 5 cm SGM (Shotgun Microphone) Foam Windjammer will fit a 5 cm Shotgun Mic Foam.
