Boom Poles

Rycote now offers a range of Aluminium and Carbon Fibre Boom Poles. From 2.50m long, 5-section Boom Poles, available as coiled or non-coiled, to shorter 3-section Boom Poles, Rycote Boom Poles are the first choice for professionals.

Featuring the same lightweight patented triple-cam 'grip and twist' locking system as the original A5 poles, and with no metal parts to add to their weight, the new G3 and G5 combine lightweight construction with great tensile strength. As on the A3 and A5, the locking mechanism is designed to be resistant to jamming when the pole is dirty; however, if necessary, the locking collars can be completely stripped down for cleaning in the field if required.

The G5 1.8M Mini Pole, a shorter and lighter version, has only 369 grams and has an extended length of up to 1.8m (5' 11") and collapsed length of 0.5m (1' 8").

The new G5-4M MKII Production Pole has an extended length of up to 3.6m (11' 9") and collapsed length of 1m (3' 3").
