Miniscreen
- The Rycote Miniscreen is designed to provide excellent wind protection for microphones mounted on cameras.
- The Rycote Miniscreen is a black, slip-on fabric/mesh windshields that has a universal (19-25 mm) mounting disk at one end, and an open cell acoustic foam front support disk, making them suitable for most onboard camera microphones, and also a wide range of external shotgun microphones.
- The Miniscreen Windjammer for the Miniscreen is manufactured from short black 10 mm fur and is elasticated at one end for easy fitting. They provide an additional 3bB of wind noise attenuation on top of the Miniscreen.

What size do I need?
All of Rycote's slip-on windshields (windscreens) sizes are calculated in the same way. The windshield MUST cover all the ports on the microphone. So the length or depth of the microphone must mean when fitted the windshield covers the ports. The diameter of the microphone is also key, as the fit must be tight to keep a good seal. In some cases it is also necessary to tape over switches on the microphone body and the joint between mic & XLR
