Gobi Challenge 2008 - what is it?
The Gobi Challenge has firmly established itself as one of the World's finest desert events. It is an immense physical and mental challenge, with stunning terrain (including an ice gorge, Asia's highest sand dunes and mountain gorges). The terrain is home to wolves, vultures and nomadic goat herders and is described as one of the least forgiving environments on earth, serving as a real test to the Rycote team’s boundaries. Over the period of a week we will cover 140 miles on foot while carrying all our own food, provisions and mandatory safety gear.
The Gobi Challenge 2008 is held in the Mongolian Desert in July 2008. For more info on the Gobi Challenge 2008 please click here
