For several years, Rycote InVision mounts have been available for narrow-barrelled shotgun and stick microphones in broadcast and videography applications, but not until 2010, and the release of the striking Universal Studio Mount (USM) was there an InVision™ shock-mount capable of accommodating large-diaphragm recording microphones for use in recording studios.
Like the other InVision mounts, the USM makes use of Rycote's patented vibration-resistant Lyre mount, but on this mount the W-shaped Lyres are placed around a central mounting ring with adjustable fasteners, allowing the USM to accommodate any microphone with a diameter of between 18 and 55 millimetres.

The InVision Softie Lyre Mount uses the Lyre system to provide complete isolation against handling and cable-borne noises. The Mount is supplied either with a lightweight Pistol-grip handle. Together the suspensions and the handle provides a quick, simple, robust and cost effective shock-mount for the tough environment of modern day ENG and location recording.
This universal shock-mount has a soft-feel grip moulded into the clip which securely holds the microphone, preventing any slipping or twisting. The Lyre are extremely robust, and virtually unbreakable, as they do not use elastic or rubber components that are prone to wear and tear.

The Softie Lyre Mount with Camera Clamp Adaptor (CCA) attaches onto many professional Sony or Canon cameras with on-board 25-27mm diameter mic holders. The CCA adaptor fits securely into the mic holder, with no twisting or slipping. The Duo-Lyre shock mount clip accommodates 19–25mm diameter microphones, and is attached to the Lyre® suspension providing professional isolation from vibrations and handling noise. The position of the CCA when fitted, lifts the microphone up and backwards and therefore keeps the microphone and slip-on windscreen out of shot – even on wide shots. Extra flexibility is added with an integrated brass 3/8” thread for boom pole attachment.

A new Lyre-based suspension for portable recorders, the suspension offers excellent isolation from vibrations, shocks and handling noise. Featuring the new 1/4'' to 3/8'' Swivel Adaptor, the suspension fits any portable recorder with a 1/4'' female thread. The suspension can then be mounted on a 3/8'' male thread, mic stand or boom pole, or be attached to a camera hot shoe. The 180° swivel allows for easy orientation of the recorder so it can point in the exact direction of the speaker.

InVision INV-7HG MKIII Stereo Pair Kit is a vibration-resistant, low-noise suspension system designed to mount paired microphones for stereo recording.
The Kit comprises two of Rycote's patented vibration-reducing Lyre suspensions mounted on a rigid, slotted stereo bar. The dual InVision INV-7 HG MkIII Lyre webs used in the Stereo Pair Kit can accommodate larger shotgun mics from 19 to 25mm in diameter, and up to 300mm long. The spacing between the two webs, and thus between the two mounted microphones, is quickly and simply adjustable from 40 to 200mm on the slotted bar by loosening a brass wheel under each Lyre and moving it laterally as required. A star-shaped knob underneath each Lyre also allows each mic to be rotated and/or inclined, and then secured once optimal stereo imaging has been achieved.
